Yeah thats right - that why there wasnt in activity lately - my blog simply has mooved - you can find it now at www.bastom.com.

I just singed me in at the Conservatorium here in oostende :D its a musicacademie....

I have my first lesson on monday evening.. heh - i will be lacking some serieus time again :s and so many things i still have to do.... I'm actualy not doing this at 100% - i mean - yeah -i want to learn more music and want to learn to play contrabass... but learning to read the tones etc... :s yak... well -that will be on monday - prob will be the most boring thing in my live.. ever... but we'll see...

This saterday i have to go to discuss with my teacher when i will be going to lessons for the contrabass..and if there is one available for renting :s hope it will be a nice one ... oooo - where to put it... its so big :P

hehe ... cant wait to play on that instrument... imagine what i'm about to learn :D and playing in a jazzband... hehe... soon my other bandmates wont be able to catch up with me - dam - that would be so nice... being a profecional musisian :D i know i can do it - so lets do it!!

Finaly - back on the internet.

Just made a fresh and clean install of windows on my computer again. Had way to many spyware/virusses/trojans on it :(

Tonight its my first performance with my hobbyband. Yeah, i played in other bands before - and performed in other bands... but this will be the first gig for the singer, a good friend of mine... I hope he'll manage to keep his nerves down :P

Met a nice girl last week too... she'll be there tonight - hope she'll like it.... ;)

Now that i'm back on the net - there are some things i defantly need to make some time for.
I realy need to start working on my own site (www.bastom.com) and the bandssite (www.semperfi.be) ...

Finaly, i'm out of these bandages... its still funny when I walk, but its okey i guess.. i hope so.

I entered a contest today - to become a 'millionaire' for one day.. hehe, not millionaire related to money (hence the quotes) but if you win, they come after you with a limo, pick you up, and drive you to a **** (that are 4 stars) hotel, with lots of luxury, you get two nights there and one day - yakuzi, roomservice.. yeah, everything;.. and you get to meet the guys from Millionair, awsome band by the way, (belgian band) then they'll drive you to the festival with the limo and you get acces to rockwerchter VIP :) backstage and stuff... oh dam!! i hope i win.. i think i filled in the verry tough questions correct.. one i had to guess - so i'm not sure of it... pls! let me win :P

Aw man, its been a hot weekend over here, and its still way to hot for me and my condition :s I just cant wait tell i get my feet out of these bondages...

Aint it funny, people always complaining about how cold it is, and its already june and still no summer.. heh, well summer is here now, and they are already complaining its to hot. Belgium is warning old peoples again for the hot weather, and is thinking of declaring a hotwave (translated directly from dutch :P) Lmao, yeah right, normaly i would be soooo glad for the weather.. but right now, my condition wont let me enjoy it.

I'm soon leaving to jam some with Semper Fi, and again, i have to ask people to drive me there, ask people to help me cary my stuff. Dam, i just cant wait tell i get out of this position. I like to be able to do what i want now..
Anyway, 3 more days, and i'll get out of it, just hope my feet will be healed. Lots of friends telling me i will have troubles with it tell the end of my times... heh, I sure hope not, cause i'd like to do some sports again... guess i'll have to be easy on it...

Hi,

Only 7 days left and i get out of this misserable state i'm in right now. Not sure how to explain this in correct english, but give me a try. I hurt my feet playing football this weekend. I torn my ligament (gewrichtsbanden). I'm now walking around with these crutches (dont know if this is a good translation :s i just typed in the dutch word in altavista's online translator and this was my result) .

I'm verry new to this kind of blogging, so i'm still need some time to get used to it. I never kept a diary before, afterall, i'm a boy ;) . I do wonder if anyone reads this anyway, or if anyone will ever read it, or even, if i'm gonna keep on writing in this everyday... We'll see..

Anyway, i like the setup of this blogger, but i'm most probably gonna change this defaulth template verry soon, as a graphical designer, i cant leave it this way now, can I ?

Currently i'm working on a online shop, its made in php and uses mySQL. I'm still in the learning fase, and finished my last eveningclasses two days ago. It was more like a beginners course, but i learned the basics... now on to the advanced ;-)
I must admid, setting up such a store, aint that hard, but is a dam long time consuming progress... :S
I'm using an open-source kinda of base where i do lots of modification for my needs (actualy those of my boss). They have a great community, with lots of people willing to help out. Thats real cool.

Besides that, I got some dates planned to do some gigs with the Semper Fi band. I'm realy glad i can be part of this band, they are real cool people that I enjoy playing with. When we make music, its more then just music, theres the chemestry.. and lightning :D
I just love it.
